Our story

After two successful missions to China carried out in 2018 during his tenure as President of the Association of Young Entrepreneurs of the Federal District-AJE/DF, Ronan Pires decided to create a non-profit institution with the purpose of operating throughout the national territory and, mainly, connecting institutions to support the internationalization and training of companies, the Instituto Jovem Exportador.

The Institute was founded on November 29, 2019 with the aim of being the main platform for inclusion and access for young companies and entrepreneurs to new markets. But for the Institute, youth is not only measured by the time of activity or age, but by the performance and knowledge about the possibilities of internationalization and the foreign market.

The objective of Instituto Jovem Exportador is to contribute to the dissemination of the export culture for companies that wish to start their first steps in accessing new markets, mainly with a focus on micro, small and medium-sized companies and in raising awareness of the entrepreneurial potential by starting strategic planning with a global positioning.

In order to fulfill this objective, the Institute has already developed several actions, such as its Young Exporter Program, consisting of a six-month gamified training trail that culminates in an international mission, having been carried out with a focus on Asian markets (Beijing in 2019) , European (Lisbon in 2020) and Arab countries (Dubai in 2021). In addition to its Program, the Institute promotes training in the form of workshops, seminars, mentorships and more, having carried out or co-organized several actions such as the Innova Summit in the Federal District, the International Business Fair-FIN in Santa Catarina, and other actions with the Brazil-Portugal Chamber of Commerce of SC, the representative of Alibaba in Brazil, IEST, secretariats of states such as Mato Grosso do Sul, Ceará, Piauí, Mato Grosso do Sul, Federal District, among others, in addition to other actions with partner specialists.
